Chapter 2 notes in VitalSource

I have updated the info in the VitalSource book for Chapter 2.

Subscribing to notes in VitalSource

As I mentioned in class, one of the great features of the VitalSource text is that you can subscribe to my notes in the book. To do so, you need to select “Subscribe to Highlighters” found under the “File” menu (on both Mac and Windows).

Picture 1

This will give you the opportunity to enter an email address to subscribe to.

Picture 2

You will put in my email address: overbyj@cofc.edu

Electronic textbook

If you choose to go the electronic textbook route, the website you need is:

http://www.vitalsource.com/

Again, you need to make sure you get the correct text. Look in the syllabus to find the author’s name and you can see the cover of the book in the syllabus here on my website.

ALEKS Course code

Here is the course code you will need to register for ALEKS.

TGKRV-3FWDR

Do not purchase this product! We will be receiving free access soon.

[Update]

This code is now live. When you put in this code to register, you will be ready to go without needing to purchase anything.

I have now added a document to the Downloads that explains the philosophy and some of the day-to-day operation of the program. You need to read this extremely carefully!
